14-Day Adventure Itinerary for Cebu and Palawan

  • Day 1: Cebu City experience

    Start your adventure with a tour of the city! Visit the well-known landmarks such as Fort San Pedro, Magellan's Cross, and the Basilica del Santo Nino. Then, head over to the lively Cebu Taoist Temple to learn about the Chinese-Filipino culture in the city. Wrap up your day with a visit to the Mactan Island for some beach fun.

  • Day 2-3: Osmeña Peak and canyoneering

    Osmeña Peak, the highest point in Cebu, is perfect for hiking and camping! Spend a day exploring the peak and its beautiful surroundings. The next day, get ready for an exciting adventure of canyoneering in Badian. Be prepared to climb and jump off cliffs and waterfalls!

  • Day 4-5: Moalboal Island experience

    Head to the beautiful Moalboal Island for an island experience. Swim with the sardines and turtles at the Pescador Island and go island hopping at Sumilon Island. Chill out and relax at White Beach.

  • Day 6-7: El Nido island hopping

    Take a short flight to El Nido and explore its crystal clear waters and stunning beaches. Go island-hopping around the Small Lagoon, Big Lagoon, Seven Commandos Beach, Secret Beach, and Shimizu Island for two full days of adventure and relaxation.

  • Day 8-9: Coron shipwreck diving and hot springs

    Take a journey to the historic shipwreck sites of the Japanese ships. The snorkeling and diving opportunities are spectacular. Soak your tired muscles at the hot springs located on Maquinit Island, where you can unwind and rejuvenate yourself for two days.

  • Day 10-11: Calauit Safari Park and Lusong Gunboat

    Travel to the Calauit Game Preserve for a Safari experience. See the giraffes, zebras, and other animals brought over from Africa, and participate in their daily feeding routine. Take another boat ride to explore the history of the Lusong Gunboat Wreck which was sunk by the Japanese during World War II.

  • Day 12-14: Puerto Princesa Underground River and Honda Bay Island hopping

    Take a tour to the Puerto Princesa Underground River, one of the Seven Wonders of Nature. Take a paddleboat tour and observe the stunning limestone formations within the river cave. Visit the beautiful Honda Bay islands for a day of island-hopping. Enjoy snorkeling, kayaking and swimming alongside the colorful tropical fish and coral reefs. Head back to the airport on the 14th day.

Transportation

To make the most out of your 14-day adventure, all travelers will need to rent a car with a driver for the duration of the trip. This option provides the flexibility they need to visit all points of interest in each location. The estimated cost for rental is at PHP 14,000 (excluding fuel) for two weeks. A ferry or boat service is required to travel from one island to another. The cost ranges from PHP 1000 - PHP 5000 per person, depending on the number of passengers.

If you have more time to spare, consider visiting other stunning locations such as Bantayan Island, Malapascua Island, and Siargao Island.

Airports

The major airport in Cebu is the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB), located 15 km from the city center. The Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPS) is the primary airport that services Puerto Princesa on Palawan Island and is 4 km from the city center.
