    The first day of the trip should be a relaxing one, spent basking in the sun at the beautiful Murdeshwara Beach. One of the most serene beaches in Karnataka, this golden stretch of sand is surrounded by palm trees and has clear blue waters perfect for swimming, surfing, and other water sports. Take a stroll along the beach and spot local fishermen hauling in their catch of the day, or simply relax under a beach umbrella with a good book. The nearby eateries offer delicious seafood and local cuisine to satiate your hunger.

  2. Day 2: Murdeshwara Temple and Statue Park
    5 minutes (1.4 km) from Murdeshwara Beach

    No trip to Murdeshwara is complete without visiting the famous Murdeshwara Temple. One of the tallest temples in Asia, it has a towering 20-storey Gopura and is set against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea. The temple has a unique architecture, and houses a Shiva linga that is believed to be one of the largest in the world. The massive statue of Lord Shiva at the entrance of the temple is a sight to behold. After visiting the temple, take a stroll in the beautiful Statue Park which has life-sized statues of various deities from Hindu mythology.
