  1. Day 1: Visit Top Tourist Attractions in Munar

    Munar is renowned for its tea plantations and the Kolukkumalai Tea Estate is a must-visit spot that offers a panoramic view of the scenic beauty. You can relish the fresh aroma of tea and witness the tea making process in the tea factory. The first day can be spent at the Mattupetty Dam, where you can take pleasure in boating and horse riding, or even go on a shikara ride at the Kundala Dam. You can conclude the day by visiting the Eravikulam National Park, located in the Western Ghats, which is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.

  2. Day 2: Explore the Backwaters and Waterfalls of Munar
    30 minutes (20 miles) from Munar Town Center

    The second day can be spent visiting the Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls, which are a visual treat and provide excellent photography opportunities.
