Relaxed 3-Day Itinerary for Jammu in February 2024

  1. Day 1: Bahu Fort
    20 minutes (4.5 km) from Jammu Tawi Railway Station

    Bahu Fort is an ancient fort on a rock face on the left bank of the Tawi River. This fort is surrounded by a beautiful garden and is dedicated to Goddess Kali. The fort offers a panoramic view of the city of Jammu and the Tawi River. Visitors can also see the Mahakali Temple located inside the fort. Make sure to visit the fort in the morning as it closes at sunset.

  2. Day 2: Amar Mahal Palace Museum
    25 minutes (6.5 km) from Bahu Fort

    Amar Mahal Palace Museum is a beautiful palace constructed in a French chateau style. The palace has now been converted into a museum that displays a unique collection of paintings, artifacts, and books. The museum also has a library that houses some rare and valuable books. This is a perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon. The museum is closed on Mondays.

  3. Day 3: Manda Zoo
    1 hour 10 minutes (18 km) from Amar Mahal Palace Museum

    Manda Zoo is a perfect place for animal lovers. The zoo is home to a wide range of animals like lions, tigers, bears, and many more. The zoo also has a large aviary that houses various species of birds. If you're lucky, you might get to see some rare and endangered species. The zoo is open from 10 am to 5 pm every day except for Thursdays.
