4-Day Itinerary for Goa, India in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach
    30 minutes (10.5 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your trip by visiting the 17th century Portuguese fort, Fort Aguada. Once a defense point overlooking the Arabian Sea, it now offers stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding areas. After exploring the fort, head to Sinquerim Beach, known for its calm waters and water sports activities. You can indulge in activities such as jet skiing, parasailing, and banana boat rides. End the day with a mesmerizing sunset from the beach.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls and Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary
    2 hours 45 minutes (73.9 km) from Sinquerim Beach

    Visit one of the tallest waterfalls in India, Dudhsagar Waterfalls. The falls are located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, which is home to a variety of flora and fauna. You can take a dip in the natural pool formed by the falls or hike to the top for breathtaking views. Later, visit the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, known for its diverse wildlife such as deer, monkeys, and Indian bison.

  3. Day 3: Panaji and Old Goa
    45 minutes (13.1 km) from Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

    Experience the Portuguese influence on Goa by visiting the capital city, Panaji. Walk around the Latin Quarter of Fontainhas, known for its colorful houses and winding streets. Later, head to Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to see the beautiful churches such as the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Sé Cathedral. End the day with a river cruise on the Mandovi River.

  4. Day 4: Anjuna Flea Market and Baga Beach
    30 minutes (9.6 km) from Old Goa

    Shop for souvenirs and trinkets at the Anjuna Flea Market, which takes place every Wednesday. The market also offers delicious street food and live music performances. Later, head to Baga Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa. The beach offers a vibrant nightlife with beachside shacks, restaurants, and clubs.
