Two-Day Adventure Itinerary for Delhi in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Qutub Minar
    25 minutes (9.7 km) from Indira Gandhi International Airport

    Start your adventure in Delhi by visiting the towering Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the tallest brick minarets in the world. Built in the 12th century, the minaret stands at 73 meters and has intricate carvings and inscriptions on it. Explore the surrounding complex that has several other interesting structures like the Iron Pillar and the Alai Darwaza. You can also visit the nearby Mehrauli Archaeological Park which has several ancient ruins and tombs to explore.

  2. Day 1: Indian Mountaineering Foundation
    20 minutes (9.8 km) from Qutub Minar

    Head over to the Indian Mountaineering Foundation for an adrenaline-pumping experience of indoor rock climbing. The center has several walls of varying difficulty levels and trained instructors who can guide you through the experience. You can also try your hand at rappelling or zip-lining. The center also has a small museum that showcases the history and achievements of Indian mountaineering.

  3. Day 1: Adventure Island
    1 hour (26.5 km) from Indian Mountaineering Foundation

    End your first day of adventure by visiting Adventure Island, an amusement park with over 30 rides and attractions. Some of the popular rides include the Wave Rider, Twister, and Sky Jumper. The park also has a water park section that has several pools and slides. You can also enjoy some delicious street food from the food stalls inside the park.

  4. Day 2: Delhi Eye
    25 minutes (9.1 km) from your accommodation

    Start your second day of adventure by visiting the Delhi Eye, a giant Ferris wheel that offers panoramic views of the city. Each capsule can hold up to 8 people, and the ride lasts for about 20 minutes. You can enjoy breathtaking views of the city's skyline and several landmarks like the Lotus Temple and Humayun's Tomb.

  5. Day 2: Delhi Ridge
    30 minutes (11.1 km) from Delhi Eye

    Head over to the Delhi Ridge, a vast forested area on the outskirts of the city that offers several trekking and hiking trails.     End your adventure by taking a thrilling ATV ride on the Gurgaon-Faridabad Road. The road is known for its challenging terrain and offers several spots for off-roading. You can rent an ATV from one of the several rental shops on the road and explore the area at your own pace. The ride offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Aravalli hills and is a perfect way to end your adventure in Delhi.
