Start your day with a visit to the Marble Mountains, a collection of five limestone and marble hills. Take a lift up to the top of one of the mountains for panoramic views of the surrounding area, and explore the caves, tunnels and pagodas scattered throughout the site. Don't miss the chance to watch local artisans carving intricate sculptures from the marble at the base of the mountains.
Next, head to Hoi An Ancient Town, a charming UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once a bustling trading port. Stroll through the old streets and admire the well-preserved buildings, including the Japanese covered bridge, Chinese temples, and French colonial houses. Make sure to stop by the local market to sample some of Hoi An's famous street food.
After a busy day of sightseeing, relax on the white sands of An Bang Beach. This peaceful beach is much quieter than the popular Cua Dai Beach, and there are plenty of sun loungers, umbrellas and palm trees to provide shade. Watch the local fishermen bring in their daily catch, and enjoy a seafood lunch at one of the beachside restaurants.
On your second day, visit My Son Sanctuary, a cluster of ruined Hindu temples that date back to the Champa Kingdom. Marvel at the intricate carvings and stone sculptures, and learn about the history of this ancient civilisation from your guide. Note that the site is closed on the 15th day of the lunar month.
Finish your trip with a visit to Ba Na Hills, a resort complex that features a French-style village, a golden bridge, an amusement park and a cable car ride with spectacular views. Take a stroll through the gardens and admire the European architecture, or try your luck on the rollercoaster and arcade games. Note that some attractions may be closed due to maintenance or weather conditions.
