Lastly, visit the Clock Tower - the city's landmark, built-in 1764 during the Ottoman era.
Start your day by visiting Kosovo National Art Gallery, exhibiting contemporary art and art from the Yugoslav era. Walkthrough dense trees and stretches of grass of city park and visit the monuments in it, like Billionaire Monument and Mother Teresa Monument to learn more about the history of Prishtina. Later, visit National Theatre of Kosovo, known for its beautiful architecture both inside and out. Get yourself indulged in the beautiful nature of Gadime Cave in Lipljan.
Start by heading to the historic towns of Gračanica and Štimlje, where you'll find quaint streets and historic architecture to explore. Next, stop by Brezovica Ski Resort, one of the most popular skiing resorts in the Balkans. There, you can enjoy skiing and sledging in winter, while in summer, you can hike in the nearby mountains. Finally, end your day by visiting Gracanica Monastery, an Orthodox Christian monument listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Begin by visiting Emin Pasha Mosque, Kosovo's most beautiful mosque, with its unique architectural design that reflects the Ottoman era's art and tradition in the country. Then go to Prishtina's largest park, Germia Park, where you can find many trails, picnic areas, and an aqua park open during the summer. Quickly stop by the Tomb of Sultan Murad, a national monument located in the center of the city. Enjoy the beautiful fountain and park that surround it. Finally, end your day with a visit to Jashar Pasha Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Prishtina, known for its beautiful architecture and incredible Islamic art.
Prishtina is best explored on foot since most attractions are easily accessible. Hire private taxis, taxis, or rent a car - cars are available at the airport and in the city center. Prishtina's public transportation is efficient and affordable; buses are available both in the city center and surroundings. A one-way ticket costs less than $1 and covers unlimited stops for 90 minutes.
