Exploring Kolukkumalai in 2 Days

  1. Day 1: Kolukkumalai Sunrise Trek

The scenic beauty of the surrounding hills and valleys is breathtaking. The trek isn't too difficult, but it’s better to carry snacks and water.

  2. Day 1: Kundala Lake
    18 minutes (8.3 miles) from Kolukkumalai Tea Estate

    After a tiring morning trek, relax at the Kundala Lake, one of the major tourist destinations near Munnar. The serene surroundings and mirror-like water will help you unwind. You can hire a pedal boat and enjoy the views of the Western Ghats and the tea plantations. The lake is also the source of the Kundala Dam. If time permits, you can also visit the nearby Echo Point and Top Station.

  3. Day 2: Anayirankal Dam
    25 minutes (9.8 miles) from Munnar

    Start your second day with a visit to Anayirankal Dam, surrounded by tea plantations and dense forests. The drive to the dam is scenic, and you can enjoy the views of the Anayirankal Lake.   4. Day 2: Mattupetty Dam and Dairy Farm
