Family Friendly 3-Day Itinerary in Goa (May 2023)

  1. Day 1: Aguada Fort
25 minutes (9.3 km) from Dabolim Airport

Aguada Fort is a perfect place to start your family trip to Goa. Built-in 1612, it was a crucial defense fort that guarded against any foreign invaders. The fort has a lighthouse and offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. Additionally, there are well-manicured lawns and a small chapel to visit at the site. Your family will enjoy the picturesque surroundings of this breathtaking fort.

  2. Day 2: Calangute Beach
20 minutes (8.7 km) from Aguada Fort

Calangute Beach is famous for its clear waters, golden sands, and sparkling waves. It is one of the most popular tourist spots in Goa. Your family can enjoy water sports such as parasailing, banana boating, and Jet Skiing. The beach also offers a variety of delicious seafood restaurants and shacks to enjoy authentic Goan cuisine. Make sure to watch the sunset with your family while sipping refreshing coconut water.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
1 hour 40 minutes (60.3 km) from Calangute Beach

Dudhsagar Falls is one of the most spectacular natural waterfalls in India, and it's a must-visit place when in Goa. The falls are a four-tiered cascade, and the water appears to be milky in color, hence the name "Dudhsagar," which means "sea of milk." Take a jeep safari to the falls, and enjoy the lush greenery and the beautiful surroundings. Your family can take a dip in the natural pool at the base of the falls, but make sure to carry a change of clothes.
