Start your adventure in Kerala with a visit to the Periyar National Park, a protected area for tigers and elephants located in the Western Ghats. Take a guided trek through the forest, and if you're lucky, you might spot some wildlife in their natural habitat. You can also enjoy a boat safari on the Periyar Lake, surrounded by lush green hills and a variety of birds flying overhead. Don't forget to stop by the spice plantations nearby to learn about Kerala's famous spices.
Day 2 takes you to the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, home to a variety of wildlife, including tigers, elephants, and leopards. You can take a jeep safari to explore the sanctuary, or go for a trek to see the animals up close. If you're interested in adventure sports, you can also try rock climbing, zip-lining, or rappelling in the nearby adventure park. End your day with a visit to the Edakkal Caves, a prehistoric site with ancient rock art.
On the last day, relax and unwind at the Varkala Beach, one of Kerala's most popular beaches. You can surf, swim, or just soak up the sun on the sandy beach. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try paragliding or parasailing along the coastline. Take the scenic cliff-top walk to the Janardana Swami Temple, an ancient Hindu temple with stunning views of the Arabian Sea. End your trip with a seafood dinner at one of the many beachside restaurants.
