3-Day Adventure Itinerary from Salem to Masinagudi in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Wildlife Sanctuaries of Bandipur

    Start your adventure with a visit to Bandipur National Park and Tiger Reserve, home to tigers, elephants, sloth bears and many other exotic animals. Go on a jungle safari to explore the natural beauty of the park and spot wildlife in their natural habitat. After a thrilling safari, visit the nearby Gopalaswamy Betta Temple, located at the highest peak of the Bandipur National Park, for a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding forest and hills.

  2. Day 2: Trek to the Stunning Waterfalls at Masinagudi

    Set out to explore the beautiful and serene Masinagudi, a picturesque town located in the foothills of the Nilgiri mountain range. Enjoy a trek to the stunning Catherine Falls, cascading down from a height of 250 feet. After a refreshing swim in the cool waters, head towards the Pykara Lake, surrounded by lush green hills and spot some wildlife in their natural habitat. End the day by visiting the Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, home to Bengal Tigers, Indian Leopards, Golden Jackals and many other rare species.

  3. Day 3: Go on a Jungle Safari at Mudumalai National Park

    Start the day with a thrilling jungle safari at the Mudumalai National Park, located at the tri-junction of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. Explore the rich flora and fauna of the park, including the Bengal Tiger, Indian Elephant, Indian Leopard and over 200 species of birds. After the safari, visit the Moyar River, which flows through the park, for a relaxing picnic lunch. End the day with a visit to the Needle Rock View Point, offering a breathtaking view of the Western Ghats.
