The Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples of Lord Shiva and is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus. Phaladhara Panchadhara is a series of five small waterfalls that are believed to have medicinal properties. Patala Ganga is a larger waterfall that originates from the Srisailam Dam. The hike to the waterfalls is through a forested area and takes around 45 minutes. The waterfalls are best visited during the monsoon season when the flow is strong.
