  1. Day 1: Banasura Sagar Dam
    30 minutes (11.5 miles) from Kalpetta Main Bus Stand

    Banasura Sagar Dam is the largest earthen dam in India and a popular tourist attraction in Wayanad. Surrounded by lush green mountains and a beautiful lake, it offers a breathtaking view of nature. You can enjoy a boat ride or trek to the nearby hills to witness the scenic beauty of the place. There are also several small shops and food stalls to enjoy local snacks and refreshments.

  2. Day 2: Chembra Peak
    1 hour 20 minutes (32.6 miles) from Banasura Sagar Dam

    Chembra Peak is the highest peak in Wayanad and is located near Meppadi town. The trek to the peak offers a spectacular view of the surrounding hills, tea plantations, and the heart-shaped lake on the way to the peak. It's a moderate trek that takes around 3-4 hours, but the view from the top is worth it. You need to get permission from the forest department to visit the peak, so plan accordingly.

  3. Day 3: Kuruva Island
    1 hour 10 minutes (28.1 miles) from Chembra Peak

    Kuruva Island is a protected river delta on the Kabini River in Wayanad. It's a perfect place for nature lovers and bird watchers. The island is covered with dense forests, bamboo groves, and a variety of flora and fauna. You can take a leisurely walk along the river and enjoy a picnic with your family or friends. Boating is also allowed in the river if the water level is low. Note that you need to pay an entry fee to visit the island.
