Nature lovers will appreciate the beauty of Elk Island National Park. Here, you can see a wide variety of wildlife, including bison, elk, and moose. There are also hiking trails, picnic areas, and campsites available for visitors to use, making it a great spot to spend a day in the great outdoors.
The Art Gallery of Alberta is a must-see for art enthusiasts. The gallery has over 6,000 pieces of artwork, including contemporary, historical, and Indigenous art. Afterwards, head over to the Alberta Legislature Building, a historic landmark with beautiful architecture and public tours available.
While it is possible to use public transportation or ride-sharing services to get around Edmonton, it is recommended to rent a car to maximize your time and flexibility. With a car, you will also have the option to explore areas outside of the city.
