    Enjoy the white sandy beach known for its scenic beauty and water sports options. You can also indulge in beachside shopping and try Goan seafood. Note that August is monsoon season in Goa, so it is recommended to check the weather forecast before visiting.

  3. Day 3: Visit Basilica of Bom Jesus
    37 minutes (9.6 miles) from Calangute Beach

    Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which is one of the oldest churches in Goa. The church holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. You can witness the beautiful baroque architecture and magnificent paintings on the walls. Note that the church is closed on Fridays.
