Paradise Beach is a secluded and serene beach located on an island accessible only by a ferry ride from Chunnambar Boat House. The golden sand and crystal-clear waters make it a perfect spot for relaxation. You can also enjoy water sports like jet skiing, banana boat rides, and kayaking. There are a few shacks selling food and drinks, and you can also rent beach chairs and umbrellas. The beach is open from 9 am to 5 pm, so make sure to plan your visit accordingly.
Auroville is an experimental township founded in 1968 with a vision of a universal community where people from all over the world can live in peace and harmony. The town is centered around the Matrimandir, a giant golden sphere with a meditation hall inside. You can explore the town on a bicycle or attend one of the many workshops and events happening throughout the year. Make sure to check out the Auroville Bakery for some delicious fresh-baked bread and pastries. The Matrimandir viewing point is open from 9 am to 4 pm, and the town is open from 8 am to 6 pm.
If you have some extra time, you can also visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, which is a spiritual community founded by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. The ashram is open from 8 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm. You can also take a stroll around the French Quarter, which has beautiful colonial architecture and cafes.
