  1. Day 1: Tower of London

    The Tower of London is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in central London. It was founded towards the end of 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest of England. The Tower has served variously as an armoury, a treasury, a menagerie, the home of the Royal Mint, a public record office, and the home of the Crown Jewels of England. Today, it's one of the city's most popular tourist attractions, and visitors can explore the castle's history and view the Crown Jewels.

  2. Day 2: The British Museum
    20 minutes (1.3 miles) from Tower of London

    The British Museum is a museum dedicated to human history, art, and culture. Its permanent collection, numbering some 8 million works, is among the largest and most comprehensive in existence and originates from all continents, illustrating and documenting the story of human culture from its beginnings to the present. Some of the museum's most famous exhibits include the Rosetta Stone, the Elgin Marbles, and the mummies in the Ancient Egypt collection.

  3. Day 3: Buckingham Palace
    25 minutes (1.5 miles) from The British Museum

    Buckingham Palace is the London residence and administrative headquarters of the monarch of the United Kingdom. The palace has 775 rooms, and the garden is the largest private garden in London. Visitors can watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony outside the palace gates which takes place at 11 am most mornings from April to July. During the summer months, visitors can tour the State Rooms, which are lavishly furnished and decorated with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection.
