Relax and Rejuvenate in Kerala for Four Days

  1. Day 1: Kochi

Start your Kerala vacation by visiting Kochi, the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea.' Kochi has it all, from stunning beaches to historic sites and beautiful backwaters. Begin with the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets at Fort Kochi Beach at sunset, and then head to the nearby St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Later, check out the Dutch Palace, a beautiful museum showcasing the art and architecture of Kerala. Top off the day with a delicious seafood dinner at one of the local restaurants.

  2. Day 2: Kumarakom
2 hours 30 minutes (71 km) from Kochi

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city by heading to Kumarakom, a serene village on the banks of Lake Vembanad. Check in at the luxurious Kumarakom Lake Resort, and spend the day relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Take a dip in the infinity pool, go on a bird-watching tour, or take a sunset cruise on the lake. End the day with a traditional Keralan dinner at the resort.

  3. Day 3: Alleppey
1 hour 10 minutes (32 km) from Kumarakom

Take a scenic drive to Alleppey, also known as the 'Venice of the East,' famous for its beautiful backwaters and houseboat cruises. Spend the day cruising the backwaters on a traditional houseboat, seeing the local villages, and enjoying delicious Keralan cuisine. Overnight on the houseboat, and fall asleep to the sound of the water lapping against the boat.

  4. Day 4: Kovalam
4 hours 20 minutes (210 km) from Alleppey

End your Kerala vacation by unwinding in the beautiful coastal town of Kovalam. Check in at The Leela Kovalam, a luxurious beach resort, and spend the day relaxing by the pool or on the beach. Indulge in a rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage at the hotel's spa, or take a yoga or meditation class. As the sun sets, head to the Lighthouse Beach and check out the famous lighthouse. End the day with a delicious dinner at one of the local restaurants, enjoying the cool ocean breeze.
