You can also visit the Velavan Temple, located on the hill. The temple has a beautiful statue of Lord Murugan and is a popular pilgrimage spot among locals and tourists.

  2. Day 2: Punganur Lake
    20 minutes (6.5 km) from Swamimalai Hill

    Punganur Lake is a calm and serene spot, perfect for a relaxing day. You can rent a pedal boat or a rowing boat and spend some time on the lake. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery, and you can also take a walk around the lake. There are several tea shops located near the lake, serving hot tea and snacks. You can also visit the nearby Jalagamparai Waterfalls, located 12 km from Punganur Lake. The waterfall is stunning, and you can take a dip in the cool water.
