7-Day Adventure Itinerary for Badrinath and Kedarnath in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Arrive in Haridwar
    From Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun to Haridwar (Approximately 45.8 km via NH 7) - 1 hr 30 min drive

  2. Day 2: Haridwar to Guptkashi

    On the way to Guptkashi, stop at Devprayag to see the confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, which form the Ganga. Guptkashi is a serene town and a perfect base for visiting Kedarnath.

  3. Day 3: Kedarnath Trek
    Guptkashi to Sonprayag (Approximately 54 km via NH 7) - 2 hr drive, Sonprayag to Gaurikund (Approximately 5 km) - 30 min drive, Gaurikund to Kedarnath (Approximately 16 km trek) - 6-7 hr trek

  4. Day 4: Kedarnath to Badrinath via Chopta

  5. Day 5: Badrinath Temple and Mana Village

    Visit the ancient and revered Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. After the darshan, head to Mana Village, the last village on the India-China border. Explore the unique culture and traditions of this remote Himalayan village.

  6. Day 6: Auli and Nanda Devi National Park

  7. Day 7: Departure
    Badrinath to Dehradun (Approximately 317 km via NH 7) - 10 hr drive, Dehradun to Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun (Approximately 27.8 km via NH 7) - 1 hr drive
