2-Day Itinerary for Goa in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada & Sinquerim Beach
    30 minutes (14.1 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your trip by visiting the iconic Fort Aguada which was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century to protect against the Dutch and Marathas. Explore the lighthouse and ramparts of the fort for a stunning view of the ocean. Afterward, head down to the beautiful Sinquerim Beach for a relaxing swim in the crystal clear water. You can also try out some water sports such as parasailing, jet skiing, or banana boat rides.

  2. Day 1: Basilica of Bom Jesus & Museum of Christian Art

    Take a break from the sun and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which houses the remains of the Catholic missionary, St. Francis Xavier.   3. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfall

    Take a day trip to the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfall located on the border of Goa and Karnataka. The waterfall is one of the highest in India and is surrounded by lush greenery. You can take a dip in the natural pool or go for a hike through the jungle to get a closer look at the waterfall. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry insect repellent.

  4. Day 2: Anjuna Beach & Flea Market
    1 hour (21.6 km) from Dudhsagar Waterfall

    End your trip by visiting the popular Anjuna Beach which is known for its hippie vibe and nightlife. Relax on the beach or try some water sports such as windsurfing or parasailing. In the evening, head to the Anjuna Flea Market which sells everything from clothes to jewelry and souvenirs. You can also enjoy live music and food from various stalls.
