Amarnath Yatra - Luxury 6-Day Itinerary in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar
    From Srinagar International Airport to Hotel in Srinagar: 1 hour 30 minutes (7.7 miles)

    Upon your arrival in Srinagar, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your luxurious hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the beautiful views of the city or taking a relaxing stroll around the famous Dal Lake. You can also visit the Mughal Gardens, which are a group of beautiful gardens built by the Mughals in the 16th century. These gardens are a true reflection of the Mughal style of architecture and design, and a must-visit attraction in Srinagar.

  2. Day 2: Srinagar to Pahalgam
    From Hotel in Srinagar to Pahalgam: 2 hours 40 minutes (92.4 km)

    After breakfast, we will start our journey to Pahalgam, also known as the valley of shepherds. The drive is scenic and takes you through the beautiful meadows, valleys and streams of Kashmir. Upon arrival, check-in to your luxurious hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You can take a horse ride to the famous Betaab Valley or enjoy a picnic near the Lidder River.

  3. Day 3: Pahalgam to Holy Cave
    From Pahalgam to Holy Cave: 6 hours (96 km)

    Today we will embark on the holy Amarnath Yatra and start our journey to the Holy Cave. The trek is a little challenging and takes around 6 hours from Pahalgam. However, you will be assisted by our experienced staff and provided with all the necessary facilities to ensure a comfortable journey. Upon reaching the cave, you will have the opportunity to seek blessings from Lord Shiva's ice lingam, which is formed naturally inside the cave.

  4. Day 4: Holy Cave to Srinagar
    From Holy Cave to Srinagar: 4 hours (103 km)

    After seeking blessings at the Holy Cave, we will start our return journey to Srinagar. Upon arrival, check-in to your luxurious hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can visit the famous Hazratbal Shrine, which is a revered Muslim shrine located on the banks of Dal Lake. The shrine is known for its unique blend of Islamic and Hindu architectural styles and is a must-visit attraction in Srinagar.

  5. Day 5: Srinagar Sightseeing
    10 minutes (2.8 km) from Dal Lake

    Today, we will explore the beautiful city of Srinagar. Visit the famous Shankaracharya Temple, which is perched on top of a hill and offers panoramic views of the city. You can also take a shikara ride in the famous Dal Lake and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and houseboats. In the evening, we will visit the bustling local markets of Srinagar, which are famous for their handicrafts, spices, and dry fruits.

  6. Day 6: Departure from Srinagar
    From Hotel in Srinagar to Srinagar International Airport: 30 minutes (9.6 km)

    After a memorable trip to the holy Amarnath Cave and Srinagar, it's time to bid adieu. Our representative will assist you in your transfer to Srinagar International Airport, where you will board your flight back home.

If you have some extra time, you can visit the famous Gulmarg Ski Resort, which is known for its beautiful slopes and snow-covered mountains. You can also take a helicopter tour of the Himalayas and enjoy the breathtaking views of the famous peaks such as Nanga Parbat and K2. To maximize your fun, we recommend that you carry comfortable shoes and clothing for the Amarnath Yatra and keep yourself hydrated throughout the journey.
