3-Day Safari Adventure in Uganda

  1. Day 1: Queen Elizabeth National Park
    5 hours (210km) from Entebbe International Airport

    Begin your safari adventure by heading to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the most popular parks in Uganda. Take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which is home to a variety of wildlife such as elephants, hippos, and crocodiles. Go on a game drive to see lions, antelopes, buffaloes, and more. Don't forget to visit the Kyambura Gorge to see the chimpanzees. Overnight in the park at Mweya Safari Lodge.

  2. Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
    4 hours (160km) from Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Go on a gorilla tracking expedition, where you will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see these incredible creatures up close in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, take a village walk to learn about the local community and their way of life. Spend the night at Buhoma Lodge.

  3. Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park
    5 hours (200km) from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    On your final day, head to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest park in Uganda but still filled with wildlife. Go on a game drive to see zebras, giraffes, impalas, and more. Take a boat ride on Lake Mburo to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. If time allows, go on a guided nature walk or horseback ride in the park. Overnight at Mihingo Lodge.

Recommendations

In addition to the safari adventure, consider visiting the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, located on an island in Lake Victoria, to see orphaned chimpanzees and learn about conservation efforts. You can also visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Center. To maximize your fun, be sure to bring comfortable clothing and shoes, insect repellent, sunscreen, and a camera to capture all the amazing wildlife and scenery.
