Bali Itinerary - June 2023

  1. Day 1: Ubud

    Ubud is a town on the Indonesian island of Bali in Ubud District, located amongst rice paddies and steep ravines in the central foothills of the Gianyar regency. Known for its traditional and modern dance, crafts and paintings, and the famous Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. Take a walk in Ubud Palace and visit Ubud Art Market for souvenirs. A must-visit is Tirta Empul, a Hindu Balinese water temple famous for its holy spring water that people use for purification and various religious ceremonies.

  2. Day 2: Pura Tanah Lot

    Pura Tanah Lot, meaning "Land [in the] Sea" in Balinese, is a rock formation off the Indonesian island of Bali. It is home to the pilgrimage temple Pura Tanah Lot, a popular tourist and cultural icon for photography and general exoticism. Tanah Lot is claimed to be the work of the 16th-century Dang Hyang Nirartha. Take a stroll on the beach and witness the stunning sunset.

  3. Day 3: Kuta Beach

    Kuta Beach is on the western side of the island's narrow isthmus. It's considered Bali's most famous beach resort destination.   4. Day 4: Uluwatu Temple

    Uluwatu Temple is a Balinese sea temple (pura segara) located in Uluwatu. The temple is regarded as one of the sad kahyangan and is dedicated to Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in his manifestation as Rudra. Go to Uluwatu Temple for a mesmerizing view of the sunset and dance performances held every evening. Make sure you secure your belongings before visiting the monkeys around the temple area.

  5. Day 5: Nusa Dua Beach

    Nusa Dua Beach is a clean and quiet beach in the southern part of Bali. Locally referred to as Pantai Mengiat, it is the perfect place to relax. You can engage in various water sports activities or just sunbathe on the beach. There are also many high-end resorts, restaurants, and a shopping complex. The best time to visit is early in the morning or during sunset.
