Solang Valley is an adventure lover's paradise, offering a range of activities such as paragliding, zorbing, skiing, and cable car rides. You can also take a scenic trek to Anjani Mahadev Temple, situated at a height of 13,000 feet. Be sure to carry warm clothes and sunscreen as the weather can get chilly. The valley is open from 9 am to 6 pm and we recommend spending around 5 hours here.
The Beas River is perfect for rafting enthusiasts, with rapids ranging from Grade II to IV. The best time to go rafting is from April to June as the water levels are high. You can also try your hand at fishing and camping on the riverbanks. We recommend spending 4-5 hours here and carrying a change of clothes as you are sure to get wet!
The Hampta Pass Trek is a challenging trek that takes you through stunning landscapes of lush valleys, towering mountains, and glistening glaciers. The trek is open from June to September and takes around 4-5 days to complete. You can camp at various locations along the way and enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas. We recommend carrying appropriate trekking gear and starting early in the morning to avoid the afternoon sun.
If you want to add some more adventure to your trip, you can try paragliding in Bir Billing or rock climbing in Shey Rock. For a more relaxed experience, you can visit the hot springs at Vashisht or take a nature walk in the Van Vihar National Park. To make the most of your trip, we recommend booking your activities in advance and carrying enough cash as ATMs can be scarce in remote areas.
