Start your day early by visiting the Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. You can also trek to Vasuki Tal, a beautiful lake located 6 km from the temple. In the afternoon, visit the Shankaracharya Samadhi, the final resting place of Adi Shankaracharya. You can also take a dip in the hot water springs of Gaurikund. In the evening, attend the aarti at the Kedarnath Temple.
Head to the Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, a paradise for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. The sanctuary is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including musk deer, snow leopard, and Himalayan black bear. You can go for a trek to Sonprayag or Triyuginarayan. In the afternoon, visit the Gandhi Sarovar and Kedarnath Peak, located near the sanctuary. In the evening, relax and unwind at your hotel.
Visit Guptkashi, a picturesque town located on the banks of the Mandakini river. The town is famous for its ancient Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple. You can also visit the Manikarnika Kund, a natural thermal spring with medicinal properties. In the afternoon, head to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, located near the town. In the evening, attend the aarti at the temple.
If you have time, you can also visit the nearby town of Rudraprayag, located 2 hours from Guptkashi. The town is famous for its confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. You can also go for a trek to the Deoria Tal, a beautiful lake located near Rudraprayag.
