Take a dip in the pool and enjoy the langar (free food) service offered by the temple. Explore the local markets and try some delicious Amritsari kulcha. In the evening, visit the Wagah Border ceremony and witness the flag-lowering ceremony.

  5. Day 5: Skiing in Gulmarg
1 hour 45 minutes (43.5 miles) from Srinagar

Drive to Gulmarg, a popular skiing destination in India. Take a gondola ride to Kongdoori Mountain and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Himalayas. You can also try skiing, snowboarding or sledging. Afternoon, visit the Maharaja's palace and the golf course.
