Visit the 600-year-old Blagaj Tekke monastery built into a cliff and overlooks the Buna River. Enjoy the scenery, have lunch at one of the local restaurants that serve fresh trout, and relax by the river.
The Kravice Waterfalls are a beautiful natural wonder located in a forested area. You can take a swim in the clear waters, have a picnic, or just relax and enjoy the serene environment.
The Mostar Sniper Tower is a former sniper tower that has been turned into a street art gallery. Go up to the top of the tower to get panoramic views of the city and see some amazing street art along the way.
Visit Vrelo Bune, one of the largest springs in Europe. Take a boat ride on the Buna River and enjoy the nature around you. On your way back, visit Pocitelj, a historic town that dates back to the Ottoman era, and explore the fortress and mosque.
Most of the attractions are within walking distance from the city center. Alternatively, taxis and local buses are also available. The average cost of a taxi ride is around 2-3 EUR, and a bus ride costs around 1-2 EUR.
If you have more time, you can visit nearby attractions such as the Dervish Monastery or the city of Dubrovnik across the border in Croatia. If you have less time, skip Pocitelj and Vrelo Bune and spend an extra day exploring Mostar.
