3-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Old Goa
    20 minutes (7.8 miles) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site that houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier. Then head over to Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia.     Start the day at Palolem Beach, known for its wide crescent-shaped shoreline and laid-back vibe. Take a dip in the warm waters and try your hand at some water sports. For lunch, head to Zeebop by the Sea for fresh seafood and ocean views. In the afternoon, visit the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, home to a variety of flora and fauna. If you're lucky, you might spot a leopard or a sloth bear. In the evening, catch the sunset at Cola Beach, a hidden gem with a lagoon and a rustic beach shack.

  3. Day 3: Forts and Spice Plantations
    30 minutes (11 miles) from Margao

    Start the day early and drive to Aguada Fort, a 17th-century Portuguese fort that offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. Then head to the Sahakari Spice Farm, where you can take a guided tour of the plantation and learn about the various spices grown in Goa. Enjoy a traditional Goan thali for lunch at the farm's restaurant. In the afternoon, take a dip in the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. If you have time, consider taking a day trip to the beautiful village of Chorao, home to the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary.
