4-Day Goa Itinerary on a Shoestring Budget in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the beaches of North Goa
    15 minutes (3.5 km) from Goa Airport

    In the morning, catch the sunrise at Anjuna Beach, followed by a refreshing dip in the Arabian Sea. Head to Baga Beach for some fun water activities and lunch at one of the shacks. In the afternoon, visit the historic Aguada Fort, take a tour and capture some scenic views. End your day by enjoying the sunset at Vagator Beach while sipping a refreshing drink at one of the beachside shacks.

  2. Day 2: Explore Old Goa and Panaji City
    30 minutes (12 km) from Vagator Beach

    In the morning, head to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Goa, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral and other historic churches. Afterwards, take a short drive to Panaji City and explore the Latin Quarter Fontainhas, Dona Paula, and the Mandovi Riverfront. In the evening, head to the Miramar Beach to watch the sunset and enjoy some street food along the beachside.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls and Spice Plantations
    2 hours 30 minutes (70 km) from Miramar Beach

    Start your day early and head to Dudhsagar Waterfalls for a refreshing dip in the natural pool and some stunning views. After that, visit one of the spice plantations near the waterfalls for an informative guided tour and lunch. In the evening, head back to your accommodation and relax.

  4. Day 4: Beach Hopping in South Goa
    45 minutes (27 km) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    In the morning, head to Palolem Beach and enjoy some delicious breakfast at one of the beachside shacks. Afterwards, visit the nearby Butterfly Beach, which can only be reached by boat. Spend some time relaxing and taking in the serene surroundings. Next, head to Cola Beach for some more beach activities and lunch. In the evening, visit the Cabo de Rama Fort for the breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea and the surrounding areas.

Don't miss out on the vibrant nightlife in North Goa, especially in Anjuna and Baga. You can also take a day trip to the secluded beaches of Morjim and Ashwem in North Goa. Try the local cuisine, especially the seafood, at some of the popular restaurants such as Fisherman's Wharf, Mum's Kitchen, and Vinayak Family Restaurant. You can also take a day trip to the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary in South Goa for some nature and wildlife exploration.
