4-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    25 minutes (9.5 miles) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit the historic Fort Aguada, which was built in the 17th century by the Portuguese. Explore the fort and its lighthouse, which offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, head to Baga Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa. Relax on the sandy beach, take a dip in the warm sea or enjoy water sports. In the evening, visit Tito's Lane, a buzzing street filled with bars, restaurants and shops.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 15 minutes (46.5 miles) from Fort Aguada

    Get an early start and take a scenic drive to Dudhsagar Falls, which is one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Take a dip in the refreshing water or enjoy a picnic on the rocks. In the afternoon, visit the nearby spice plantations and learn about the spices that have made Goa famous. In the evening, head to Panaji, the state capital, and stroll along the Mandovi Riverfront Promenade.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna Flea Market
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Panaji

    Start your day by visiting the beautiful Vagator Beach, which is surrounded by cliffs and lush greenery. Relax on the beach or explore the nearby caves. In the afternoon, head to the famous Anjuna Flea Market, where you can find everything from handcrafted souvenirs to spices and clothing. In the evening, visit the Chapora Fort, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

  4. Day 4: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    30 minutes (10.5 miles) from Anjuna Flea Market

    Start your day by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the oldest churches in India. Admire the stunning Baroque architecture of the church and see the preserved remains of Saint Francis Xavier. In the afternoon, visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, where you can see a variety of bird species. In the evening, head to the Miramar Beach, which is a perfect place to watch the sunset.

If you have time, consider visiting the Reis Magos Fort, which is located near Panaji, or taking a day trip to the beautiful Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. To maximize your fun, try some of the local Goan cuisine, such as fish curry and rice, or take a yoga class on the beach.
