Adventure-filled Day in Hampi, June 2023

    Take a refreshing dip in the serene waters of Sanapur Lake. You can swim, kayak, or just relax on the banks of the lake. Make sure to carry a change of clothes and a towel.

  3. 11:00AM: Hippie Island
    40 minutes (20km) from Sanapur Lake

    Cross the Tungabhadra River by boat to reach Hippie Island, a peaceful and laid-back place with a bohemian vibe. You can rent a bike and explore the island's paddy fields, boulders, and villages. Don't miss the sunset from the Monkey Temple.

  6. 7:00PM: Sunset at Hemakuta Hill
    15 minutes (1.5km) from Hampi Bazaar

    End your day with a stunning sunset view from Hemakuta Hill, which has ancient temples and monuments. The hill is a short climb from the Hampi Bazaar and is especially beautiful during the golden hour.

If you have more time, you can also visit the Lotus Mahal, the Elephant Stables, and the Vittala Temple Complex. You can also try rock climbing, coracle rides, and banana boat rides.
