A 2-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    30 minutes (8.5 km) from Dabolim Airport

    Morning: Begin your day at Fort Aguada, a well-preserved 17th-century Portuguese fort. Take a self-guided tour of the fort and soak in the beautiful views of the Arabian Sea.

    Afternoon: Visit Sinquerim Beach, which is adjacent to the fort. Relax on the beach or go for a swim.

    Evening: Head to Baga Beach for dinner at Britto's Bar and Restaurant. Enjoy delicious seafood and cocktails with a view of the beach.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 15 minutes (80 km) from Baga Beach

    Morning: Start your day early and head to the Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Take a jeep safari to the falls and enjoy the scenic views.

    Afternoon: Return to Goa and have lunch at Vinayak Family Restaurant. Try their famous fish thali, a traditional Goan meal.

    Evening: Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in India. Marvel at the Baroque architecture and the ornate interior.

Recommendations

If you have more time, visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, a peaceful place for bird watching. For a side trip, head to the beautiful Palolem Beach. Maximise your fun by trying water sports like parasailing and jet skiing. Don't forget to buy souvenirs at the Anjuna Flea Market and visit a spice plantation.
