Start your day with a visit to Bhagsu Waterfall, which is at its best in June. You can have a refreshing shower under the waterfall and enjoy the cool breeze. Afterwards, head to Namgyal Monastery for some peace and quiet. This Monastery is the largest Tibetan temple in Mcleodganj and is home to a large statue of Buddha. You can also enjoy a vegetarian lunch at the monastery's rooftop restaurant. In the evening, you can visit the bustling McLeod Ganj market which offers a variety of shopping options, cafes and restaurants.
Get an early start to your day and head towards Triund. The trek is a moderate one and takes approximately 4-5 hours. It offers some of the best views of the entire Himalayan range. After reaching the top, take some time to relax and enjoy the view. You can also have lunch at one of the local cafes. Head back to McLeod Ganj by late afternoon. In the evening, you can visit the Dalai Lama Temple and take a walk around the temple complex which is peaceful and serene.
Visit the St. John in the Wilderness Church, which is located in a picturesque location surrounded by beautiful deodar trees. The church has a rich history and is known for its Belgian stained-glass windows and the memorial of the British Viceroy, Lord Elgin. After visiting the church, you can head towards the Tibetan Museum which has a vast collection of artifacts and items related to Tibetan culture and history. In the evening, you can visit the Sunset Point and enjoy the beautiful sunset view.
Other attractions worth considering are the Gyuto Monastery, Kangra Fort, and the Naddi viewpoint. You can also take an overnight trip to the Bir-Billing Paragliding site, which is known for its breathtaking views and is one of the best paragliding sites in India.
