6-Day Andaman and Nicobar City Experience Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Corbyn’s Cove Beach
    15 minutes (7.5 km) from Veer Savarkar International Airport

    Start your day with a visit to Corbyn’s Cove Beach. Enjoy the beauty of the clear blue water and the soft sand. Take a dip in the ocean, or try some water sports like jet skiing or banana boat rides. In the afternoon, head to the nearby restaurants and try some delicious seafood. In the evening, watch the sun set over the horizon while sipping on some cocktails by the beach.

  2. Day 2: Cellular Jail National Memorial
    20 minutes (9 km) from Corbyn’s Cove Beach

    Today, visit the Cellular Jail National Memorial. Learn about the history of the Indian Independence Movement and the role the jail played in it. Take a guided tour and witness the light and sound show in the evening. After the show, head to the nearby Aberdeen Bazaar and try some local street food.

  3. Day 3: Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park
    30 minutes (14 km) from Cellular Jail National Memorial

    Start your day by visiting the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. Take a glass bottom boat ride and witness the beautiful coral reefs and marine life. After lunch, head to the Anthropological Museum and learn about the tribes of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. In the evening, head to the nearby Chidiya Tapu to witness the beautiful sunset.

  4. Day 4: Ross Island
    20 minutes (11 km) from Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park

    Today, visit Ross Island, a former British Administrative Headquarters. Take a guided tour and learn about the history of the island. After lunch, head to the nearby North Bay Island and take a snorkeling tour to witness the beautiful coral reefs and marine life. In the evening, head back to Port Blair and try some local street food at MG Road.

  5. Day 5: Samudrika Marine Museum

    Start your day by visiting the Samudrika Marine Museum. Learn about the marine life and the history of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. After lunch, head to the nearby Marina Park and enjoy some water sports like paddle boating or row boating. In the evening, head to the nearby Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex and try some more adventurous water sports like parasailing or jet skiing.

  6. Day 6: Mount Harriet National Park
    30 minutes (15 km) from Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex

    On your last day, visit the Mount Harriet National Park. Take a nature walk and witness the beautiful flora and fauna of the park. After lunch, head to the nearby Madhuban Beach and enjoy some peaceful time by the ocean. In the evening, head back to Port Blair and enjoy some local delicacies at the Sagarika Government Emporium.

Recommendations

If you have some extra time, consider visiting the Radhanagar Beach on Havelock Island or the Limestone Caves at Baratang Island. You can also take a day trip to the nearby Ross and Smith Islands. To maximize your fun, try some adventurous water sports like scuba diving or sea walking. Make sure to also try some of the local delicacies like fish curry or crab masala.
