8:00 AM: Start your day in Amritsar

Begin your journey in Amritsar, a city known for its rich history and cultural heritage. Visit the iconic Golden Temple, the holiest gurdwara of Sikhism. Don't forget to enjoy the langar (community meal) offered to all visitors.

11:30 AM: Travel to Chandigarh

Take a scenic drive to Chandigarh, a modern planned city renowned for its urban design and architecture. Explore the Rock Garden created by Nek Chand, a unique sculpture garden made from recycled materials. Spend about 2-3 hours wandering through the maze of art installations and marvel at the creativity.

2:30 PM: Head to Anandpur Sahib

Proceed towards Anandpur Sahib, a holy city associated with the birth of the Khalsa. Visit the Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, one of the five Sikh religious seats. Experience the tranquil atmosphere and learn about the history and significance of this place. Allocate around 1-2 hours for this visit.

4:30 PM: Visit Govindwal Sahib

Moving on from Anandpur Sahib, make your way to Govindwal Sahib, another significant Sikh pilgrimage site. Visit the Bhai Mardana Ji Gurdwara and pay homage to Guru Nanak Dev Ji's first disciple. Spend approximately 1-2 hours exploring the gurdwara and immersing yourself in its spirituality.

6:30 PM: Proceed to Damdama Sahib

Continue your journey to Damdama Sahib, a historic gurdwara located in the village of Talwandi Sabo. This gurdwara holds immense significance as Guru Gobind Singh spent around a year here. Observe the beautiful architecture and engage in spiritual activities. You can spend an hour or so before heading back to Amritsar.

8:00 PM: Return to Amritsar

Arrive back in Amritsar after a day filled with spirituality and exploration. Indulge in delicious Punjabi cuisine at one of the local eateries, and if time permits, catch the stunning Beating Retreat ceremony at the Wagah-Attari border, which takes place around sunset (timing may vary).

While exploring Amritsar, make sure to visit the vibrant and bustling Hall Bazaar. It offers a unique shopping experience with traditional Punjabi attire, handicrafts, and other local products available.
