Dehradun, Kedarnath, and Rishikesh 6-Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Dehradun
    30 minutes (15 miles) from Jolly Grant Airport

    Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand, is known for its scenic beauty and pleasant climate. Start your day with a visit to the Robber's Cave, a beautiful natural cave where a stream flows. Afternoon visit the Mindrolling Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist centers in India. Evening, visit Tapkeshwar Temple, an ancient Shiva temple located on the banks of a river.

  2. Day 2: Kedarnath
    8 hours (150 miles) from Dehradun

    Early morning, head to Kedarnath, one of the Chota Char Dham pilgrimage sites. The main attraction is the Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The trek to the temple is around 16 km from Gaurikund. It may take up to 10 hours to complete the trek, depending on your fitness level.

  3. Day 3: Kedarnath
    Full day in Kedarnath

    Start your day with a visit to Bhairavnath Temple, a short trek from Kedarnath Temple. The temple is dedicated to Bhairav, who is believed to protect the Kedarnath Temple during winters.
