  1. Day 1: Delhi Red Fort

    In the morning, visit the tallest brick minaret in the world, the Qutub Minar. Explore the surrounding complex including the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque. In the afternoon, visit the Lotus Temple, a unique architectural masterpiece that also serves as a Bahá'í House of Worship. In the evening, visit the Akshardham Temple, a Hindu temple with beautiful architecture and a water show.

  3. Day 3: Humayun's Tomb
    30 minutes (12.7 km) from Qutub Minar

    In the morning, visit the beautiful Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum, which has a large collection of ancient Indian artifacts and artwork. In the evening, take a walk around Hauz Khas Village, a trendy and vibrant neighborhood with many restaurants and bars.

Recommendations

Aside from the itinerary, you may also want to visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, and Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. If you have time, a side trip to Agra to see the Taj Mahal is highly recommended. To maximize your fun, try some of the local street food, such as chaat and golgappas.
