Family-Friendly Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Calangute Beach
    30 minutes (10.5 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your day by heading to Calangute beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa. Spend the morning relaxing on the beach, building sandcastles and playing in the waves. For lunch, head to one of the many beach shacks and try some of the local seafood.

    In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Goa to learn about the culture and history of the state. The museum features a collection of contemporary art, as well as interactive exhibits that are great for kids.

    In the evening, take a stroll along the Baga Beach and enjoy the sunset while sipping on some refreshing coconut water.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    1 hour 30 minutes (70 km) from Calangute Beach

    Start your day early and head to Dudhsagar Waterfalls, which is one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and is a great spot for a family picnic.

    In the afternoon, visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, which is home to a variety of bird species. Take a boat ride through the mangrove forests and spot some exotic birds.

    In the evening, head to the Fontainhas, which is the Latin Quarter of Goa. The colorful buildings and narrow streets make for a picturesque setting for a family walk. Stop at a local cafe and try some traditional Goan snacks.
