3-Day Adventure Itinerary for Dharamshala Himachal Pradesh in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Triund Trek

    The Triund Trek is a popular trek in Dharamshala, which features stunning views of the Himalayas. The trek takes around 4-5 hours to complete and starts from the Galu Temple. The morning climb is pleasant as you will be walking through a forest with beautiful flora and fauna. After reaching the top, you can relax and enjoy picturesque views of the mountains all around you. You can also camp at the top, under the starry sky. In the evening, you can feast on some delicious Maggi at the little restaurants near the top.

  2. Day 2: Kangra Valley

    The Kangra Valley is a beautiful valley surrounded by the Dhauladhar Mountains. You can start your day by visiting the Kangra Fort, which has a rich history and offers a panoramic view of the valley. Next, visit the Masroor Rock Cut Temple, which is an archaeological site and has well-preserved rock-cut temples. In the afternoon, you can take a paragliding ride from Bir-Billing, which is just a short drive away. In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset at the famous Norbulingka Institute while learning about Tibetan history and art.

  3. Day 3: Bhagsu Waterfall
    12 minutes (2.5 miles) from Dharamshala

    The Bhagsu Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall that is located in a small village called Bhagsu. You can start your day by visiting the waterfall and then trekking to the Bhagsunath Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has a freshwater spring. Next, visit the Namgyal Monastery, which is the largest Tibetan temple outside of Tibet and has a serene and peaceful atmosphere. In the evening, explore the Dharamkot market and dine at one of the local cafes while enjoying live music and performances.
