Exploring Mumbai in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Gateway of India
    30 minutes (9.5 km) from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus

    In the morning, visit the iconic Gateway of India, a 1924 Indo-Saracenic arch monument overlooking the Arabian Sea. Take a boat ride to Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site, to explore the ancient rock-cut temples. In the afternoon, head to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya museum, which houses a collection of art, artifacts, and natural history exhibits.   3. Day 3: Siddhivinayak Temple and Bollywood Tour
    30 minutes (10 km) from Haji Ali Dargah

    Start your day at the Siddhivinayak Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh, known for fulfilling wishes and granting boons. Take a guided tour of Bollywood, the Hindi-language film industry, and get a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes action. In the evening, take a stroll at the Bandstand Promenade, a popular sea-facing walkway, and enjoy the sea breeze.
