The beach is surrounded by coconut trees and provides a perfect spot for a picnic. In the afternoon, you can visit the Temple of Lord Shiva which is located near the beach. The temple is famous for its unique architecture and the idol of Lord Shiva made of black stone. In the evening, you can take a stroll along the beach and watch the sunset.
If you have time, you can also visit the Ganpatipule Beach, Prachin Konkan Museum, and Malgund Beach. For a side trip, you can visit the Ratnagiri Marine Musuem.
