Afternoon: Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in India. In the evening, take a walk through the vibrant Latin Quarter of Fontainhas and admire the colourful Portuguese-style houses and quaint cafes.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider taking a side trip to Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India. You can also try your luck at the casinos in Panaji, the state capital. To maximize your fun, try local Goan cuisine, especially seafood dishes. Don't forget to visit the flea markets in Anjuna and Arpora for souvenirs.
