Start your day with a morning trek at Kunti Betta. Located in the picturesque town of Pandavapura, this hill is known for its stunning sunrise views. The trek is relatively easy and takes around 2 hours to complete. After the trek, head to the nearby Sri Vasavi Restaurant for a hearty South Indian breakfast. In the afternoon, visit the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, located about 30 minutes away. Take a boat ride along the Kaveri River and spot exotic birds like the painted stork and black-headed ibis. In the evening, head to the Mysore Palace, an hour's drive away. The palace is illuminated every Sunday and public holiday from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm, which is a sight to behold.
Start your day early with a trek to Savandurga, one of the largest monolith hills in Asia. The trek is challenging, but the stunning views from the top are worth it. It takes around 3 hours to complete the trek. After the trek, head to the nearby Manchanabele Dam for some kayaking and paddle boating. In the evening, visit the Bannerghatta National Park, located about an hour away. Take a safari and spot tigers, lions and other wild animals. The park also has a butterfly park and a zoo.
