Vizag Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Kailasagiri
    20 minutes (5.7 km) from Visakhapatnam Railway Station

    Morning: Visit the sprawling Kailasagiri park, which offers breathtaking views of the city and the Bay of Bengal. Take a cable car ride to the hilltop and enjoy the panoramic views.
    Afternoon: Visit the Shiva Parvathi statue and enjoy a picnic lunch with family and friends. You can also try some of the local street food.
    Evening: Head to the nearby RK beach and witness the mesmerizing sunset or relax on the beach. You can also try some water sports like jet skiing and banana boat rides.

  2. Day 2: Simhachalam Temple
    20 minutes (7.5 km) from Kailasagiri

    Morning: Visit the sacred Simhachalam temple, dedicated to Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple's architecture is a perfect blend of the Kalinga and Chalukya styles.
    Afternoon: Head to the nearby Rushikonda Beach, one of the best beaches in Vizag. Enjoy some beach activities like surfing, swimming, and sunbathing.
    Evening: Visit the INS Kursura Submarine Museum, which showcases India's first submarine to be decommissioned. The museum gives you insight into the life of a submariner.
