2-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Ayodhya in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Ramkatha Park
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Faizabad Junction Railway Station

    Morning: Start your day at Ramkatha Park, a beautiful park located on the banks of the Sarayu river. Take a stroll around the park and enjoy the serene atmosphere. You can also take a boat ride on the river.
    Afternoon: For lunch, head to Brijwasi Sweets and Restaurant for some delicious vegetarian food. After lunch, visit the Kanak Bhawan Temple, a popular Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita.
    Evening: End your day with a visit to the Nageshwarnath Temple, one of the oldest temples in Ayodhya. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to have been built by Lord Rama himself. The temple has a beautiful architecture and a peaceful atmosphere.

  2. Day 2: Hanuman Garhi
    15 minutes (3.8 km) from Ramkatha Park

    Morning: Start your day at Hanuman Garhi, a popular temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple is located on a hill and offers a panoramic view of the city. You can also climb to the top of the temple to get a better view.
    Afternoon: For lunch, head to Biryani Paradise for some delicious biryani and kebabs. After lunch, visit the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in Ayodhya. The temple is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama.
