3-Day Family Friendly Goa Itinerary in December 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus
    25 minutes (13.6 km) from Goa International Airport

    The Basilica of Bom Jesus is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in Goa. Spend the morning exploring the church and marveling at the intricate Baroque architecture. Have a traditional Goan lunch of fish curry and rice at a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, take a 15-minute walk to the nearby Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. End the day with a visit to the nearby St. Augustine Tower ruins and enjoy the sunset from the viewing platform.

  2. Day 2: Visit the Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours (71.5 km) from the Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Start early in the morning and head to the Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside and stop at a local spice plantation en route. Spend the morning at the falls enjoying a picnic lunch and swimming in the natural pools. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Tambdi Surla Mahadeva Temple, one of the oldest Hindu temples in Goa, before heading back to the city.

  3. Day 3: Explore the Fontainhas Heritage Walk
