7-Day Honeymoon Itinerary in Rajasthan - July 2023

  1. Day 1: Jaipur
    30 minutes (9.7 miles) from Jaipur International Airport

    Start your day at the Amer Fort, a stunning hilltop palace where you can take an elephant ride up to the entrance. Afterward, visit the City Palace and its adjoining museums, followed by the Hawa Mahal for beautiful views.   2. Day 2: Jaisalmer

    Take an early morning train to Jaisalmer and check into your hotel. After lunch, visit the Jaisalmer Fort and its many temples, palaces, and havelis. In the evening, take a camel ride and watch the sunset over the Thar Desert.

  3. Day 3: Jodhpur

  5. Day 5: Pushkar

    Explore the many temples and ghats of Pushkar, including the Brahma Temple and the Pushkar Lake. Afterward, visit the many local markets and shops for unique souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy a sunset yoga class on the banks of the lake.

  6. Day 6: Ajmer
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Pushkar

    Visit the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a famous Sufi shrine, and pay your respects to the saint. Afterward, visit the Taragarh Fort for stunning views of the city and the surrounding hills. In the evening, visit the Ana Sagar Lake for a relaxing boat ride.

  7. Day 7: Jaipur
    2.5 hours (85 miles) from Ajmer

    Take a morning drive back to Jaipur and spend your last day exploring any sites you may have missed, or taking a cooking class to learn how to make some Rajasthani specialties. In the evening, head to the airport for your flight back home.

Consider taking a side trip to Mount Abu, a beautiful hill station with stunning views and many temples and lakes. You could also visit the Ranthambore National Park for a chance to see tigers in the wild.
