Coaker's walk is a one-kilometer-long pedestrian path located along the edge of the hill station, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The path is named after Lt. Coaker, who prepared the map of Kodaikanal. The entry fee is INR 20 per person.
The serene Pine forest, situated amidst rolling hills and clear skies is a perfect location to unwind. One can opt for horse riding, nature walks and purchase souvenirs. The entry fee is INR 10.
Also known as Devil's Kitchen, the Guna caves are natural chambers formed between three massive boulders. The caves are linked to the cult classic Tamil movie "Gunaa," which was shot here. Kodai Lake, the man-made star-shaped lake, is one of the top tourist destinations in Kodaikanal. Visitors can enjoy boating, cycling, horse riding, and shopping at the stalls. The entry fee is INR 10 per person and INR 60 per hour for boating.
The Bear Shola Falls is a seasonal waterfall nestled in the reserve forest. It is named after the bears that used to come to these falls to drink water. The entry fee is INR 10 per person.
Bryant Park, located on the eastern side of the lake, is home to more than 700 varieties of flowers and plants. The park also houses a glasshouse, which displays a wide range of exotic flowers and plants. The entry fee is INR 30 per person.
Do not miss the spectacular view of the Palani Hills from the Kodaikanal Solar Observatory. The observatory remains open from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Another exciting activity to engage yourself in is trekking to the Dolphin’s Nose viewpoint, standing atop the Vattakanal hill.
